6. Data Retention Periods
Personal data is retained for the period strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
Prospects (no contract): 3 years from the last active contact. After this period, data is deleted or anonymized.
Clients (contractual relationship): Contract duration + 10 years after contract end, in accordance with Canadian legal accounting and tax obligations.
Anonymized browsing data: maximum 13 months, in line with best practices recommended by data protection authorities.
Data rights requests: 5 years from request closure, for compliance evidence purposes.
7. Data Security
As a company specialized in cybersecurity and transaction authentication, TransaGuard Technologies Inc. applies enterprise-grade security measures to protect collected personal data.
These measures include:
